Dr. Jane Bonsall

I am a private tutor with 12 years of experience teaching students from primary to university level. I have a PhD in English Literature from the University of Edinburgh, and have worked extensively with students aged 7-20, offering learning support, exam preparation, and advanced instruction in a range of subjects.

I provide one-to-one private tuition in National 5, Higher, and Advanced Higher English, and Maths up to National 5 level, as well as learning consolidation, revision strategies, and general study skills. In addition to helping my students succeed at their exams, my sessions are designed to build students' confidence, help them develop autonomous learning strategies, and complement and extend existing schoolwork.

I am currently supporting students who are learning remotely due to COVID restrictions, and adapting my instruction to meet their evolving needs.
